Outlook does not come with your Windows version, Vista, it is part of the MS office suite if you have one. If you don't then you will need to get a new or older version of Office.
The Motorola tools software and manual both tell you that Outlook is
required I think.
[Moderator's Note]
ActiveSync requires Outlook. NS-Contacts & NS Contact Manager do not require Outlook.

Okay,
I read alot of links before firing this note. This is where I've been.
I saw a post that suggested this link for sync software.
http://www.download.com/NS-Contacts-...-10579862.html
When I tried to download that, it said I need Active Sync., So I
looked for and tried to download Active Sync. During download I got:
could not write value CLSID to key SOFTWAREMicrosoftInternet
ExplorerExtensions{2EAF5BB1-070F-11D3-11D3-9307-00C04FAE2D4F}.
Verify that you have sufficient acces to that key, or contact your
support personnel.
What that means, I have no idea. I have Vista Home Premium. It didn't
come with Outlook. Someone please help!
Oh yeah, I do have a "Sync Center" but it wont do a sync partnership
with my Q9c. It recognizes it as attached to my laptop, but nothing
else.
