Hi, Last July I bought a laptop with Vista Premium installed. Have had
a great dal of problems with it and have had to use the CD to
reinstall a few times. On wed it crashed agein, tried the cd and it
started to loadv then a message Unable to find 'win.wim' appeared, I
carried on, it went as far a choose your language window which was a
blank and froze.
I'm not able to make another cd I get a message CD has been made. Had
to return to PC World to get vista reinstalled but the service there
is terrible, has been returned twice as it went in!
Can anyone advice how I can make another CD? I feel sure that its
possible if I only knew how. Many thanks for reading Al

Hi Al,
Vista OS will not fit on a CD.

You have to use the Vista DVD to repair the installation with.

Have you tried cleaning the Vista DVD (or is it a Restore CD)? Even if
it is scratched you might be able to repair it. Do a Google search for
CD repair - you can try it yourself, and if that fails, you can buy a
repair kit. Here's a couple sites to get you started:

Good luck,
