generally speaking, virtual memory is where your systems uses part of
your harddrive for ram when you do not have enough. The best way to
deal with virtual memory errors is to add more ram.
You can do temporary fixes by increasing the amount of virtual memory
up to 1.5 times the amount of physical ram you have. Personally I
leave my setting to let the computer decide.
If your harddrive is full and you do not have much ram, sometimes by
making more space on the drive can help. As I said, though creating
more space will help, adding more ram is really the best option.
