xmlTextReaderSchemaValidate

hello again,

i want to use the above mentioned function but during
linking it sais the
following:

gcc `xml2-config --libs --cflags` -o readinv readinv2.c 
/usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols:
_xmlTextReaderSchemaValidate
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

i am running gcc-4.0.1 on darwin (mac os x)

can anyone help?
