Howdy Dudies, and Dudettes,
We had some stormy weather in this chat last week and
hopefully the
worst has past. I know that the air currents can get quite
severe when
you have a tropical depression looming overhead, and then
when you
throw in a big gust of hot air you never know what's going
to happen.
The days are getting longer and the nights are getting
shorter,
believe me though I am not complaining as the night's are
usually not
my friend. My holiday weekend was jam packed with many home
improvement projects and even as sure as it wore me down I
feel as if
I got a lot accomplished.
My neighbors don't like me though, the guys are always
telling me
that my yard looks too nice and to cut it out because their
wives are
giving them more honey-do lists to keep up on. I guess
that's what
happens when you have to keep most of your life storedd in a
closet,
there has to be a venue for all those creative juices to
ooze out.
My son and his fiance live downstairs in my house and
even with the
fact that I love them dearly I still am secretly waiting for
the day
they get wed and move out, I have design plans laid out in
my head for
their space. I don't drink alchohol so my plan is to erect
an ice
cream bar in the basement. It's going to have both regular
hard scoop
ice cream and soft serve along with a working soda fountain
and all
the trimmings.
Well I hope everyone else will read this and get some
inspiration
on how to productively battle depression. Keep busy, stay
cool and
love, love, love......
                                                          Mr
Ben Z.

The breeze wafting from the woods sent a shiver down my spine. It carried the smell of half fermented berries and the unmistakable odor of half rotted leaves on it's gentle tendrils. The sun was warming my bare chest as I sat and looked out on the open field in front of me, reminding me of hugs long gone but held in a special place within my heart.
I saw the flowers bobbing atop their stalks and the birds in the sky danced a lazy ballet upon unseen currents as if in a mystic ocean. The only noise was the drone of a lone bee feeding upon the nectar of a bright orange flower in the foreground and the distant chatter of a pair of chipmunks off behind the opposing treeline.

I feel your lips press tightly to the nape of my neck, a moan escapes my lips. The beauty that is you cannot be encompassed with words alone but by the actions of mine arms. ;I enfold you in a hug that must surely last a lifetime.
Your eyes, so innocent and green, look into mine as we kiss. Your hair, it tickles my cheek and adds to the pleasure of being in the presence of greatness. The smell of your being is overwhelming and makes my head spin. It is not cologne or perfume but the resonance of you. Pure and clean and causing a rhapsody in the strings of my heart.
