problem with dates in csv reports

When I download a trac report in csv format, the dates for
creation
time and modified fields comeout as serial numbers, however
Ecel is
not able to interpret/convert these numbers into date
format, can
someone suggest a workaround so csv download these fiels in
the date
format like mm/dd/yy
