Which Trac Version

Please share with me your experience with Trac. I'm trying
to decide
which version to go with and have been reading these forums
to help me
decide.

I'm primarily interested in the ticketing/bug tracking
feature of Trac
but would like to do extensive UI customization. From what I
can tell
0.11 uses Genshi and prior to that ClearSilver.

Clearly I would not like to spend time customizing
ClearSilver pages
if it's going to be tossed in the next version.

Any ideas "how stable" 0.11 is at the moment?
I've read the development forum and there seems to be lots
of concern
about the stability and status of that branch. Can anyone
share with
me their experience with the latest & greatest and any
gotchas? I'm I
better of using the older "stable" builds?

I'm on 0.11 for about 3 months now. I've never seen any
problems with
stability.
So, if you need a plain trac only, I'd suggest that you use
0.11. But,
if you depend on some certain plugins, be careful and test
them before
going live.

Investing time in customizing Clearsilver templates was even
problematic 
during the 0.9 / 0.10 period.

modifications 
without touching at the templates themselves (1).

Well, no, the concerns are more about some of the internals,
no really 
about the stability, which is quite good.
So from a user p.o.v. using trunk should be OK.
 From a developer p.o.v, one can not at this time migrate
0.10 plugins 
or write new ones and expect to be done with it. Probably
one more round 
of fine-tuning will be needed to adapt them for the final
0.11.x APIs.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll go with 0.11.

As a new user of this I don't have any plugin migration
concerns.
