Hi Trac-dev,

I am in the process of packaging the Trac SpamFilter plugins
for the
Debian distribution.

However, in order to properly distribute software in Debian,
we require
the exact license terms to represented inside the source
code or tarball.
(As you do not provide tarballs for the spamfilter plugins,
I am
packaging these from Subversion)

Whilst you do refer to a license in each of the files, it is
not
acceptable Debian policy to simply link to a license on the
internet.
This is in order that one may check the license if they do
not have
sufficient access, or your site is not available in the
future, etc.

Would it be possible for someone to check-in the appropriate
COPYING file
to the root of the SpamFilter tree? If this is not possible,
if a suitable
developer could reply to this message--preferably
signed--confirming the
license, that would also be fine.

Thank you for developing and working on Trac.

Regards,

Chris.

You may want to write directly to Christopher Lenz, as he's
the primary
author of this plugin.

Sorry for the delay, I'll look into this ASAP (here's
hoping
tomorrow :P )

Cheers,
