Alternate format for report main page

Is there a reason to show up 'alternate formats' (rss, csv,
tsv, sql)
on the main report page, i.e. the /report url that displays
a list of
available reports.

I would believe it is not useful, or even invalid for RSS
feeds.
Any thoughts?
