      The above HOT specification is for general reference
only. With Horizontal 
      Output Transistor, it is NOT true that
‘Bigger is Better’. There is more 
      to characterizing a transistor than just maximum
voltage, current and 
      power dissipations. Other important parameter such as
current gain (Hfe), 
      storage and fall time might take into consideration.
      A replacement HOT should not run hot if properly
mounted to the heat sink 
      (using heat sink compound). It should not be too hot
to touch (careful 
      don’t touch with power on). To avoid call
back from customer, do 
      yourselves a favour and get a correct replacement type
(original number if
