Problem restoring old database!

I backed up my Typo database using "typo backup
.". Now when I  
restore the database, everything seems to be there
(according to a  
mysql frontend), but no posts show up on the blog, even
though all  
the categories and tags do show up. Does anyone know what's
going on?
