Which upstream version will that be?

The bug (or possibly a related one) is still present in
libvte9
0.15.4-0ubuntu1. For me, it manifested in mutt's mail
overview; simply
switching to another terminal and back shows corruption:
blocks of
missing characters. The problem clears up when selecting
over the
affected area, but that's not a good solution.
