cannot print even pages in a range

Binary package hint: evince

This bug is related to gnome-print, I suppose.
If I open a file with evince and I want to print even pages
in a range I choose 1-4 in the range box
and "even pages" in the "Page setup"
tab: I expect pages 2 and 4 to be printed. However, all
pages
in the range are printed, i.e., the "even pages"
specification is ignored.

In the above link I don't see any similarity to the
behaviour I
described.  Maybe there is some other page with more

specify the
version of Ubuntu, might be an another one open on evince

Yes, I read them and I did not find one specifying the same
defect I
observe.

I filled all the fields that were requested on the web page.
 If this is
a necessary information that you miss, probably you should
ask for it,
or arrange so that the web page asks for it.

Anyway, I use the latest stable Ubuntu 6.10, regularly
updated.

I think you should not mark a bug as a duplicate because
there "might be
another one".  If you need help for identifying
possible duplicates, you
should ask for it, specifying exactly what you need.
