I think you'll want to cherry pick commit b7de8e7e
("ia64: fix
noncoherent DMA API so devres builds") from upstream
now that you've
pulled in devres.  That will fix your ia64 build.

Yup, I guess my email got hung up waiting for a moderator of
your closed
kernel-team list for a long time, and I see that you picked
up the exact
commit I pointed out anyway.

I don't know what happened there. I flagged your message as
approved the
same day you sent it, as I recognized the subject. I don't
know what held it
