unable to boot

If you could tell me how to get the vfat module to load (it
does not appear on /lib/modules/version/kernel/fs ) I will
be able to mount my usbstick and stop taking pictures (which
is really a slow process because I have to preprocess them
in gimp to make them viewable/usable)
