Gstreamer

Hi,

I've been having huge issues with playing various forms of
media 
(sounds/video) and it appears to be related to the change
from Gstreamer 
0.8 to 0.10.

What's the timeframe for the completion of this move?  There
appears to 
be a large amount about plugins / etc missing - will these
be added 
before April?

hi,

You should open bugs for issues you have. Your mail lacks
informations
on what kind of format do you try to play and what packages
do you have
installed (gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg,
...). Some
things as gstreamer-dvd have not been updated yet though

Which ones by example? Most of the Desktop has been switched
to
gstreamer0.10 at that works pretty fine at the moment
(rhythmbox and
totem work fine for me by example)
