External monitor on IBM T41 laptop

Johan, I'm in EXACTLY the same boat as you. Even to the
model of the
laptop (IBM T41) -- erie.



I've gotten it to work fine in Xinerama, but I also only
want one
display. Please let me know if you solve this riddle.
