How can I upgrade the Ubuntu Dapper versions of the
following:

gphoto2  -  have 2.1.6  -  need 2.2.0
libgphoto2  -  have 2.1.6  -  need 2.2.0
libgphoto2_port  -  have 0.5.1  -  need 0.6.0

Current version#'s obtained by using:  gphoto2 -v

It may not be possible yet... but you may be able to request
a backport
of the version in edgy via dapper-backports...

You might also be able to request a dapper-update fix, if
the support
can be added easily to gphoto. File that request here:
