A quick Google on Gobby brought disillusion :-/
Gobby is not like team speak, you can't actually hear
people talking...
Well, I can only hope that of the talks will be filmed, like
for the
Dapper meeting. It's quite nice to see and hear all our
Ubuntu devs
My favorite is kernel guru Scott R., because I think he is
from England
and his English is very sharp and clear, very easy to
understand even
when he speaks fast, so it's quite pleasing to listen to,
to improve my
understanding of spoken English.

Gobby is a collaborative editor which we use in conjunction
with the audio
conferencing with TeamSpeak.

Oh no ! :-O <running away>
I hope Scott isn't reading this ! I mean, a few years back
I made the
mistake of confusing a Scottish chap for an English one. He
felt
insulted and had a very violent reaction, I had to run away
fast for
cover ! :-O
I hope Welsh people are more forgiving... I promise I will
forever
remember that he is Welsh not English !
OTOH, if the Ubuntu site had a section presenting briefly
all our lovely
(at least core) devs, we would know them a lot better and
not do stupid
mistakes like I just did... a project for the new Ubuntu
webmaster
maybe !

I think something like that would be a great idea. That way
some of us
who don't follow ubuntu-devel or hang out every day in
#ubuntu-devel or
something can know more about these devs. maybe a project
for
behind-ubuntu?
