It was taken at an amusingly packed little restaurant in an
amusingly packed
little town called Mataro, in Spain. I don't think the
townspeople had any
idea what was going on and our front page news in the local
paper [1] didn't
make it any more obvious (particularly with the photo of
Mako and I, wearing
ties). The idea to do an April Fool's spoof of our 'Circle
of Friends' nudie
logins came up during the conference, so on the very last
night we took this
now-famous photo.
Scott disputes the label about his pants, although I'm
pretty sure those are
his very sexy forearms. James has since lost the hair, the
beard and what
seems like all the weight I put on while at Canonical. He's
trim, taught and
delicious, ladies! Mark lost the hackerly hair during the
Dapper cycle, as
it doesn't appear to be compatible with Canonical's
ambitious business goals
or South African snark rags [2]. Matt hasn't lost any of his
evil [3], but
amazingly still doesn't have a blog! I wore out the shoes,
lost the hair [4]
(which you can't see anyway), but still have a thing for
green.
