    hi all

i think there is a problem with my > libGL.so.1< file. 

i have a ATI Radeon X700 & i installed the drives acording to this guide

i followed method 1

i get the following messages

glxgears
glxgears: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


 fireglcontrol
fireglcontrol: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

in synaptic i see that i have "libgl1-mesa&quot; installed & in the installed property i see the file /usr/lib/libGL.so.1.2 so 
it must be installed

how can i fix this
