Thanks, but I did that much long ago.  Still nothing.  I
think I have
been able to get it to find something at some point, but
right now, I
can't even find a document containing "the".

I'll worry about that after beagle seems to do something

Sorry -- shows how often I use it -- I just discovered that
search
doesn't find anything on my set up either. I simply never
need it, so
never noticed that it wasn't indexing anything. This is the
output I
get from:

several days ago). But I don't know what it's doing. Sorry
I couldn't
be more help. I'll obviously need to study beagle more.
