¿What is a PC/server? ¿A PC running Linux? ¿A PC running
OpenSolaris?
¿A PC running FreeBSD? ¿A PC running NetBSD? ¿A PC
running OpenBSD?

I don't know about RUN, but if your PC/server runs Linux or
OpenSolaris, you can use NX or FreeNX. For any other
operating
systems, yoy can use plain X11 or VNC.

Sorry for private message.

Well first of all you should run something like a sshd on your ubuntu system.
To access the system from a m$ windows system you should use putty.exe (google is your friend) and winscp

To use putty there a several howto´s ...

well start putty ... put the ip of your ubuntu system in on port 22 and accept the ssh certificate.
after that you will get access to your linux system.

login: for example: root
passwort: <the root password>

I hope this is what you are looking for and asking about.

Regards from germany.
MR

VNC will run on any thing you just need to install vnc
server on the the
computer you like to view and have the vnc client on the
computer you like
to use.

http://www.tightvnc.com/

This a great one. On Linux you can even now-a-days set up X
to have VNC
running so that you can log in remotely. I use VNC to access
my mac,
windows xp box and my linux server.

Windows uses RDP you need to use on something like Terminal
Server Client
to access a windows box, or if you are using KDE KRDC.

I assume by PC you mean a Windows Computer, right. And not a
Personal
Computer.

First is the Redhat box yours?

You have to have Admin Access to set it so that you can
access the box,
either by sshd or vnc.

I guess you tell everyone what you are really wanting to do,
then maybe
you will get the answer you wanting.
