I just bought an Averatec 2260, and booted it using the
Ubuntu live CD
for AMD64 processors (the laptop has an AMD64 processor).
The
wireless device is not detected. Does anyone know how I can
fix this?
I'd like to make sure it works using the Live CD before I
install it
on my hard drive.

Thanks,
Colin Kern

You will need to tell us which kind of wireless chip your
laptop has.
There are several ways of doing this, but I think running
"lspci"
should suffice.

I've attached the output of lspci. I couldn't tell which
one was my
wireless chip. I'm not sure if it's even detected.
