Does anybody have printing via CUPS or SMB working on FC5?
It won't work for
me :-(

From what I can tell so far it looks like the cupsd.conf
created by nxnode
which used to work with FC3 (cups-1.1.22-0.rc1.8.5) won't
set up a cupsd we
can use on FC5 (cups-1.2.2-1.8). The error_log is below for
anyone who might
be able to help.

When nxnode runs lpadmin to create the printer being shared,
lpadmin wants a
password which it used not to, and which nxnode can't
supply. There is a
cupsd process owned by the user running, so it hasn't
exited entirely. Does
anybody know what changed between CUPS versions that would
cause this?
