Problems with Wand login

The Essex County Libraries login page is somehow preventing
me from using 
a Wand login.

your record" to bring up the login page.

I saved my ID/password ("Pincode") in Wand, and
the boxes come up with 
the yellow outline; but hitting Ctrl-Return appears to
submit a form with 
empty fields: at any rate, it complains that the fields were
not 
completed.

I assume the form is somehow intercepting my keystrokes,
since disabling 
Javascript cures the problem. Can anyone suggest a different
work-round?
