Passwords are not accepted

Running 9.02 8585

I wonder!
When I want to enter a place where MY password is required,
MY password is  
always refused as being wrong
although
doing the same procedure with FireFox everything runs
smoothly, as  
expected.

So the problem seems to be within Opera.
But where/what ?

Any hint available?
