NatWest online banking still doesn't like Opera

I have an account with NatWest and would like to use their
online banking 
facility. For some years now they have been saying:

> For technical reasons the service does not currently
support the Opera
> browser. We are working with the publisher to address
this.

Is this actually true (that they are working with Opera on
the issue)? Is 
there any prospect of NatWest accepting Opera?

I note that if I tell Opera to pretend it's IE, NatWest's
sniffer 
believes it (but not if I spoof as Mozilla, interestingly
enough). And of 
course I do actually have IE on this machine, though I use
it as little 
as possible because I don't trust it ...
