How to recover more than one page?

When... er, if, you close a tab by mistake you can recover it using Edit:Undo or the trash icon.  Either of those opens a tab and reloads the web page.

But what about when you close an Opera window full of tabs by mistake, how can that be recovered?  Yes, if the window was recently saved as a named session it can be reloaded.  There is also a preference to 'continue from last time' which works if Opera was killed or exited.

But if Opera had more than one window open it doesn't exit and there seems to be no way to recover, or is there?  I9;ve looked in the help, tutorials, tricks and tips, and some of the archive, did I miss something?

The iffy thing about this is that if you don't opt for a close button on every tab, the tab close button is next to the window close button, inviting mistakes.

I've done this a few times. The best way I know of is to
type
opera:history into the address bar, then work my way through
the history
list, shift-clicking the various pages, until I have open
the set of pages
that I need.

Opera between Windows and Linux

Greetings all,

In light of Windows Vista's total lack of appeal to me, I've
been thinking very seriously of switching over to Linux.
Things have changed quite a bit since I tried Linux two
years ago: Linux NTFS support is now nearly flawless (in the
past, write support wasn't really great, and could result in
data corruption). In addition, Windows can be modified a bit
to support Linux partitions.

Email and Opera (both are connected, in my case, as I use
M2) were two big reasons that held me back from trying Linux
a bit more earnestly initially. That is, while I might be
able to copy my mail folders to Opera on Linux and have my
mail there, I wouldn't be able to port it back to Windows in
case I really needed it there (unless I left mail on the
server, but even then, filters wouldn't stick). It seems
that, partition support-wise, now I can do this. The
question is, are the Linux and Windows versions of Opera
different in a manner that would make this impossible?

I'm almost sure enough that there is no difference that I
considered not sending out this question, but it's better to
be safe than sorry. Thanks in advance!
