Re: No save with images in Opera 8 b7561

I have now upgraded to O 8.0  (ver 7561) and I have the same
missing function:
File / "Save with Images" has gone missing!

I looked without success for the function which Håvard
described, and on 
the Help pages and the Migrate info page, which says:

Old location                    |       New location    |   
   Comment
File > Save with images as      |       File > Save as
 |       Option in 
the "Save as type" dropdown

But I cannot even find such a "dropdown" or
anything anywhere leading to 
"Save as type".  I am NOT a neophyte - I'm a nerd,
and I tutor computer 
system configurations and create websites.  But this has
stumped me.

Please, someone walk me through the specifics.

Hi Marian,

I am running the same version of Opera as you are. IMHO the
change in
"Save with images" is not exactly intuitive and I
had the same
difficulty finding it Opera 8.0 as you are now experiencing.

Try: "File -> Save As" or the "Save"
button on the default toolbar.
When the "Save As" dialog is displayed, go to the
"Save As Type" drop
down listbox in that dialog and select "HTML file with
images".

If the above drop down listbox does not appear in the
"Save As" Dialog,
then I would believe your Opera installation or something in
you Windows
setup has been corrupted.

As Håvard explained you, it is now in the "Save
as..." dialog. This is
a Windows dialog, not an Opera one.

OKAY, I got that to work.  It's now three extra steps versus
O7 which 
had  AltF+A ; Enter.

For anyone else struggling --- In Opera 8.0, to save with
images using the 
mouse:
Click File
Click Save As  (added step)
Click Save As Type  (added step)
Click HTML with Images
Click and write filename desired (or accept default)
Click and select folder desired (or accept default)
Click Save

But there's another problem.  See next message.
