The LDS Church is looking for several Sr. Java Engineers to help in the development of their Family Search Engine. This is a large scale web application assuming millions of users, terabytes of structured information and petabytes of image data. The project will be very challenging and rewarding. If you feel that you meet the qualifications listed below please contact us so that we can get the ball rolling.
Third Party API Senior Engineer Team Lead
Java, Web services architectures, J2EE, HTML, JAX-WS, WSDL, etc.; software development including object-oriented design, messaging systems and protocols including SOAP, XML over HTTP (REST), and JMS.
Senior Engineer, Product Engineering Division
Extensive current technical experience in server and web-based application development.
- Relevant general technologies include a mix of Java web applications, application server architectures, search, retrieval, and classification systems.
- System management engineering includes scripting languages, database, JMX, and other java-based technologies.
- The scale of the system requires network protocol, network infrastructure, and communications software design.
- Most software development uses rich object design.
Desktop Client Senior Engineer
Extensive current technical experience in Rich Internet Application development including JavaScript, XML, Ajax, CSS, and HTML; software development including object-oriented design, messaging systems, services, and protocols including SOAP, XML over HTTP (REST), and JMS.
