Description

We are looking for strong software engineers to be on a small team doing Java EE development with frameworks like JSF, Spring, Hibernate.  This engineer will need to be comfortable with AGILE and collaborative development processes.  ; 

 

Qualifications

•        ;   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Sr. Java Developer – Contract to hire or Salaried

 

We are looking for a permanent Java Developers to join our team. ; You will work to develop/support Internet applications, with responsibilities in analysis, OO design, coding, testing, documenting, production implementation, and maintenance of those applications. Involvement may include evaluations of new Internet technologies and upgrades, system performance studies, and enhancement recommendations. ;

 

Requirements

 

§         4+ years of Java/J2EE experience

§         XML/XSL

§         Working knowledge of database concepts and good OO design  in a Oracle Database environment

§         Weblogic Application Server

§         Struts

§         Ant, CVS

§         Excellent debugging, problem solving and testing skills

§         Fault tolerant software design - Highly scalable and high performance software development

§         BSCS preferred. Will accept significant professional experience in place of degree.

 

Desirable Skills:

 

§         Experience with BEA Portal, Portlets a big plus

§         Knowledge of JMS a plus.

§         Experience with Hibernate

§         Webframeworks: JSF, Struts, Spring

§         Knowledge Webmethods nice to have

§         Financial or Banking services experience.

§         WebServices experience a plus

§         Solaris Unix a big plus

 

 

Java Developer – Contract

 

We are looking for java developers for a project that will be approximately 9+ months.  These positions will be located in Salt Lake City.  The following technologies are the ones we would like to see:

 

JBoss

Eclipse

Hibernate

J2EE Services

Oracle

Some Delphi is a nice to have

Will use a rules engine - JBoss/JRules
