Director, Software Development (PHP Developer)

Title: Director, Software Development, Senior PHP
Application Developer

55k-60k/yr, plus bonuses based on company success. Includes
benefits/ 
insurance package.

(Other full/part time opportunities are also available.)

Duties:
Build and maintain internet applications and web sites,
including a  
proprietary learning management system and safety tracking
tools.  
Manage team of programmers, including in-house and contract 

programmers.  Allocate resources, design product
enhancements, QA/ 
acceptance testing, etc.  In other words, manage entire
product  
lifecycle.

Required Skills:
. PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, HTTP
. Strong knowledge of software design concepts
. Web page/application design experience with consideration
for  
usability and aesthetics.  Be prepared to provide examples
of  
previous work.
. Understand Subversion, wikis, and web services
. Able to work on large and diverse projects.

Useful--but not required--Skills:
. CakePHP a plus
. Knowledge of Prototype/Script.aculo.us a plus
. Graphic design using Adobe Photoshop or similar tool.
. Instructional design experience a plus
. Flash ActionScript experience a plus
