asterisk and mplayer

I am searching for a way to place a call from a video phone
to a PC running asterisk and send the video stream to
mplayer.

I have not found a method to do this, can someone point me
in
the right direction or is it not possible yet?

I can certainly call that same PC and send the audio to
/dev/dsp
that is working.

As far as I know it's not possible directly.
An ugly hack could be using sipp or other sip testing tool
that let you
emulate a sip client and send a sdp with the ports you
specify, and then
redirect the call in asterisk to it.
