I'm using a conceptronic hfc card. I started with misdn
channel driver and then switched to bristuff
as I'm more comfortable with q931 pri debug on it.
Yes, audio calls work, outgoing videocalls work and dialing
out to itrself works so it seems that the problem
is related to the 3g mobile<->isdn switch in the
operator network that is causing the problems.
The funny thing is that I can dial the on line demo in
international numbers without problems with the
same mobiles. This is getting me crazy...
Best regards
Sergio

Does incoming audio call work?
What kind of ISDN channel technology/hardware do you use?

Hi,
sounds like an channel bundling problem on behalf of your
network operator.
Did it function before with BRI ISDN?
What happens, if you use BRI ISDN and PRI ISDN?
We had a Pbx-switch in the line: BRI ISDN - Pbx - Asterisk.
Then it showed up, that the Pbx was not able to do channel
bundling,
necessary for
Videocalls.
Perhaps it is new to your operator that someone wants to
make channel
bundling?
Even this is not a solution, perhaps it helps,

Hi
I get same issue too. Some carrier block Bearer for video calls. If you debug q931, you can see the bearer type being used at setup. It could be your BRI provider doing it.

3G video does not use channel bundling. It uses only a
single channel
(64kbit digital connection).
I guess the problem is somewhere in Sergio's mobile provider
routing or
in the interconnect with the landline provider.

Happy to help, but my knowledge of the asterisk internal API
and data
structures is quite limited.
I am working first on fixing RTP (easy to check with a
player) and then
moving to the mp4.
I have managed to detect directly in app_h324m when the
handset is in
silence detection mode, and can insert silence audio frames.
Those frames
are routed OK inside asterisk and sent by RTP.
The problem I have is that the insertion shouldn't be done
at once, but one
frame every 20msecs. Can anybody help about the ast_frame
field that should
be filled to schedule frame sending at the proper time?
Sergio mentioned
"delivery" ... is that the proper one?

Have you tried to divert (video)calls?
