Sachin,
Looks like u r trying to access your application without connecting to the domain.
If I have understaood your Question correctly then the answer is pretty state forward.
You need to give the complete DNS name, Userid, password & database name in your application connection string so that u can access the application without logging into domain.
regards
Ram.

I have an application on my laptop which should connect to a database on SQL Server 2005.
My laptop is running Win XP Pro and the SQL Server 2005 is running on a desktop, also with Win Xp Pro. This desktop machine is available on our office network domain, and I can easily connect to the database when I log in the network from any workstation.
However, I still need to access the database from my laptop without logging in the network.
Is there anyway I can do that, knowing that when I connect to the network (Just connect network cable, without logging in), I get to see the Server among the list of servers available.
Also, I'm the admin for the desktop server, so I have full right to create users and logins.
Appreciate your help
Is there any way I can connect to the server
I already set my database to Mixed Mode Option
Sachin........
