I know the answer to this question in theory. I should be grateful if
someone who uses, or has access to, Windows 2000 could answer it in
practice.

To set the orientation of Notepad, using only Keystrokes (NO Mouse!), the
procedure is as follows:
1. Alt+F to bring up the File menu.
2. Then - and here is my question - is it "T" or "U" for Setup menu ?
3. Finally, Alt+O for Portrait ; or Alt+A for Landscape

I know that Bill Gates changed from "T" to "U" round about 2000. What I want
to know, for certain, is whether Windows 2000 is the Old "T" or the New "U".

Many thanks.

Michael

Hi,
I have XP Pro (2002).

I did not know that using Alt+F showed a different menu, from the one
you get when clicking the Menu bar.

You probably know that it is (in XP) -
2. Alt + U for Setup menu

However the next did not work
3. Alt+O for Portrait ; or Alt+A for Landscape
Alt + A to Z does nothing in my dialog
