Software Engineer Description 

* This person will be responsible for the design and
development of scalable and highly available network
applications for the endpoint management server group.
* Implementing portable server software in Java and
C++ * Working with a tech leads and other engineers to
ensure a consistent design and compatibility with all
interfacing products. * Working with QA to ensure the
code delivered is of high quality. 

Qualifications 

* Minimum 3 years experience in software development.
* Excellent Java and C++ skills * Good NT/Unix/Linux
shell scripting skills * Network programming (e.g.
TCP/IP, UDP, IPv6, DNS, etc.) * Network architecture
and deployment (e.g. IOS, BGP, RIP, OSPF, 802.1x, EAP,
RADIUS, LDAP, AAA, firewall rulesets and ACLS, VPN
administration, etc.) * Knowledge of security
protocols (e.g. HTTPS, SSL, TLS, X.509 certificates,
PKI, IPSec, AH, ESP etc.) * Knowledge of monitoring
protocols (e.g. SNMP, syslog, HTTP, etc.) * Excellent
communication skills * Experience unit testing or
performing QA of network applications and protocols *
Familiarity with development tools such as Visual C++,
Eclipse and CVS * CCNA, CCNP, CISSP Education: B.S. in
Computer Science or equivalent
