Since our beloved friend Tim Armes (project manager and only
developer
with svn write access on websvn.tigris.org) seems to have
disappeared for
some unknown reason for the time being, I've decided to
create my own
repository for WebSVN's trunk so that we can continue
development while
he's gone. When Tim returns, we'll probably get as much
of what has
changed committed to the official repository as possible,
but in the
meantime, we need to continue working on this project to
ensure Tim can
release 2.0 in the near future.

I will begin by applying any patches found on the mailing
list and in the
bug reports. My next step will be some general development
with the
possibility of creating a "new ideas" branch so
that the trunk doesn't get
cluttered with random new, untested features.
If anyone here wants to help develop this, you can either
send patches as
usual (based on my repository of course) using the command
`svn diff
- --extensions '-wu8' > somefile.patch`, or you may
apply with me to get a
write-access account on this repository (email me directly
for details;
yes, you may encrypt your email via my provided PGP public
key). To
report bugs regarding this trunk, just email this mailing
list with the
string "[Proposed Bug]" in the subject.
