How do I map user Drives?

I want to map the U drive to the users share on the network.

Each user has their own folder named whatever their username
is.

An example would be:

John Smith logs on and the U drive is mapped to
\\server\jsmith
Tom Jones Logs on and the U drive is mapped to
\\server\tjones

I think I used to use "%user%" to do this but I
cant get it to work.

in the logon script just add those 2 line:
net use /d u:                  This is in case the u: dirve
is no
deleted
net use u: \\servername\%username%\
