Jack, I hate to say this but you really need to attend class
on Windows
Server technology. These forums are going to be of little
help without
an understanding of Active Directory fundamentals.
Regarding your Default Domain Policy, don't edit that
policy. Create a
new one, give it a name befitting its purpose, and link it
to a limited
(experimental) Organizational Unit. That way, when you make
a mistake,
your mistake will only affect one or two test users or test
machines.
At the very minimum, make an investment in a guide book.
