server needs manually repairing connection requently

Hi all, we have a windows server 2003 for small business in
the office.
We use comcast service and the server is assigned a static
IP. Since
last week, we started to have a strange problem. It is often
shown that
the internet is down, but when we use "repair"
option on the network
connection of the server, the internet comes back. We have
to do this
several times a day which is annoying. Do you have any clue
of how we
can fix it permanently? Thanks a lot!

Hy,
I would suggest check with your ISP, maybe their DHCP
services
terminates your IP....
