Minimum Requirements:
• A love of programming, and significant time spent programming just
for fun.
• Highly productive writing sophisticated applications using one or
more object-oriented languages (e.g. Java, C#/.NET, Ruby/Rails, C++,
etc.).
• An open attitude and the ability to constantly learn and grow.
• Comfort tackling unfamiliar problems and learning new technologies
quickly.
Ideal Qualifications (each is a plus but not required):
• Experience with Agile methods such as Extreme Programming (XP),
Scrum, etc.
• Significant experience with web application development.
• Experience with lightweight frameworks (e.g. Hibernate, Spring,
Velocity, etc.).
• Knowledge of Design Patterns.
• Proficiency with Refactoring.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and related tools.
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
