WOW, LOL
Hey I just wanted you to know I got this, I just haven't had time to sit and respond to the various suggestions - I DID read through them and they all sound very reasonable!
I'll get back to you on this as soon as I can.

John,
Using the new local exe.
A:
I've checked the new feature with axis guides it could reveal to be
handy ;)
As far as I understand it's experimental isn'it? I find that the check
box isn't very natural to use to choose between x and y, two radio buttons
or a select box may be more natural (yes I know it takes more place ;)
)....
A
few ideas about this:
-
Maybe if you use a select box you can add further features without taking more
room.
-
Maybe: x,y,x and y (cross guides), quad border (place a guide to the top right
bottom and left at the choosen distance), center (based on the mc
center).
-
What about modifiing the order of things? The following sequence seems
to me more natural: choose the guide type (x,y,..), choose color, type
in the location, add the guide.
-
What about an additional boolean button: show/hide all
guides?
More generally speaking, I first though that this new guides menu
was to put guides into the property inspector grid ;) Yes I know it doesn't make
any sense, I should maybe go to sleep now ;) However this could be due to
the fact that this is very close to the property inspector grid, so I made a
logical link between both, when their nature are quite different. Why
not add a new tab after output and property inspector, named: on stage
tools or on stage manipulations?
B:
Feature request: When I rollover on the property inspector over a value
which is a sub-object is it possible that the tooltip shows the content of this
object.
For example:
Property
|
Value
| Type
myArray
[object
Object]
Array
Rollover on Value [object Object] would display on the
tooltip [valueA,valueB,valueC].
A
kind of shortcut to avoid having to go inside then to go
back.
C:
Why the < Go back button is at this place? Why not put this next
to Property inspector (on the light gray frame) or at its right? It seems to me
more logical, or maybe I'm mistaken? Is it used for other panels, output or
help?
Why not add a more advanced navigation bar prev, parent, prev
parent child next parent child etc....?
Waouw I weren't so concise on this one.....
Sorry for that.
Have a good day!
Best regards.

;) thanks!
PS> be sure to check out the short help
files. I've been adding short ones in there about features I've been
adding (grid line creator, edit tool selector to name a couple). I've not
heard any feed back on those and I'm wondering if anyone's tried em'
