search no longer working after upgrade

Can someone help me out. I upgraded Xaraya last night from
1.0 to the  
latest version and now the search module isn't working. It
shows that  
it is installed and active but when I click search it says
the module  
isn't installed. I'm using short urls but I also have tried
the normal  
index.php?module=search and I get the same thing.
