All a good idea, but to be clear, these updates in the
host/dom0 won't affect or prevent the messages below.

What version did you install as the guest? SLES 10 GA?
SLES 10 SP1?
The messages below suggest to me that the VM was installed
from SLES 10 GA or maybe even older. I thought all such
problems were fixed before SLES 10 GA shipped, but I would
have to double-check to be sure. They certainly should be
fixed when installing SP1 as a guest.
