HI,

I submitted a post on popups a few days back without a response. I just thought I will take another shot at it.
I am fairly new to YUI and am trying to find a solution that I can use to create popups. I took a look at the Container component of YUI but that is not close to what I looking to do. window.open() also does not satify my requirement. createPopup is an IE specific method which returns a popup object, I am trying to find out whether there are other solutions out there which are cross-browser. If you could give me any kind of feedback or point me to something in YUI, that would be great.

Sunny,

The Container family of YUI controls encapsulates our widgets for popping up new window-like layers within a web page.  If none of those is close to what you're looking for, then we probably don't have it in YUI today.

It would be a great feature request, though, for you to document why Container's widgets miss the mark so much for you so that we can take your suggestions under advisement as we evolve the library.
