Hello everybody,
I have a very "classic" application layout. A
Datatable in a center
layout-unit should be reloaded by clicking on tree-nodes in
a left
layout-unit. This is working fine so far...
Let's say a first treenode shows a datatable containing
products, the
second shows a datatable containing stores. The Column defs
are
completely different but the table should be rendered into
the same
container.
Now I don't want to remove and create a datatable every time
a tree-node
is clicked. So I look for some way to update the constructor
parameters
of YAHOO.widget.datatable() and re-initialize it.
I worked through the "Reordering Columns" example,
but that seems not
what I'm looking for. I need to re-initialize the datatable
instance
with updated column defs and datasource response schema.
Is that possible?
best regards
Henning
