I'm considering making a Upcoming plug-in for
Textpattern... essentially, a client wants to
use Upcoming to manage their event listings.
I have a couple questions.
1. What is a more efficient and/or stable method of drawing
event data, RSS feeds or the API?
API seems cleaner to me, but the information would be drawn
on a per-view basis. Perhaps
that is too much a strain on the Upcoming service to use
API?
2. In either method, are there limitations in the numbers of
events available in the feed/API?
For instance, if I listed the events in a given group, would
ALL the events be listed, or the
next x events?
