    I’ve anxiously awaited the release of the promised easy install to an external firewire drive. Downloaded the four iso’s and what do you know, the installer will not recognize my firewire drive. I’ve formatted the drive with the OSX installation disk utility as free space, no go! 

I’m not a total newbie but at this point I’m at a loss as to what to do next. Does anyone have a suggestion?
